StackOverflow temporarily banned users from posting AI-generated responses from OpenAI's chatbot ChatGPT, with the risk of misleading users. It's unique because it suggests that the scale of LLM in the wild creates new challenges for web platforms. Some web platforms don't have the tools needed to protect against a flood of AI-generated content.
How can we protect against issues involving misinformation?
Platforms need strong tooling that provides clear and concise information on user reported content. Keep it simple here when providing metadata to your moderators.
